Welsh Chapels and Churches Credits
The photographs on this website have all been taken and sent to me mainly by members of the Rootsweb Glamorgan and Dyfed Mailing Lists, adding to those that my husband or I had taken on our visits to Wales. If you come across an image in the incorrect county please let me know.
I am still learning web-design and I would not be able to so easily overcome problems without the continued support of my friend and tutor Pat Geary whose website knowledge, online classes, common sense and positive help is as always, an invaluable aid. These attributes of Pat's can be easily met on the Expression web Mailing List and Frontpage Yahoo group. This website is based on one of Pat's templates, which are available at Genealogy Web Creations.
I would like to extend my thanks to the many people on the Rootsweb Glamorgan and Dyfed Lists in particular, who have joined my quest and contributed pictures, in their open and generous way, to help others. Many have gone the extra mile, making it a mission to go out into their parish and take photographs of all the chapels and churches they could. It was found that many of these wonderful buildings had been turned into family homes. Whilst sadly very many derelict buildings had become small business premises or had been demolished, happily some had become thriving community centres, but every one of course, well worth recording. I am indebted to Dai Bevan who encouraged me to build this site.
